I’d ask that you populate the name fields truthfully, so that the administrator of the site can be clear on who’s who. If you’re content to appear on the forum by name, then set the display name drop-down box to your first name and last name, in that order (e.g., ‘Victor Frankenstein’, not ‘Frankenstein Victor’.

On the other hand—if you’d rather appear on the site by pseudonym, you can do so by entering something else in the ‘Nickname’ field and then setting the display name to that nickname. Feel free to be creative, but tactful and polite

Please be advised that any user ID can be associated with only one name, nickname, etc., regardless of how many of the websites under this domain name you may belong to. If need be, I can create additional user IDs providing you pass on additional email addresses since that’s the identity key for WordPress purposes.

Beyond that, feel free to include as much or as little information as you like. A little bio reflecting you and/or your interest in the work here would be helpful to the general community but is not essential.

Setting your time zone is also a good idea!

The site language is English UK by default, since that gets us proper Canadian English in most cases while (deceivingly in the case of English Canada) others do not. Unless you have a burning desire to look like an undesirable trespasser, I’d suggest leaving that alone J
