I don’t consider that I’m really well trained enough in the language of Early Modern English (which is to be used in the story), but I figured I might as well try my hand at it, and that way learn about my competence or shortcomings. I’m relying mostly on my integration of the language of the Authorized Version of the Bible (1611). The capitalization pattern belongs to a slightly later period, I now realize (ca. 1650s) so that can be trimmed considerably if I opt for an earlier period. I am at present reading the Bishop’s Bible, which has slightly older spellings for extra ‘cool’ factor. In other regards, it’s not particularly more difficult to interpret.

So here’s the first composition! Let me know your thoughts.

The site language is English UK by default, since that gets us proper Canadian English in most cases while (deceivingly in the case of English Canada) others do not. Unless you have a burning desire to look like an undesirable trespasser, I’d suggest leaving that alone J
